Following Jesus

Small groups are vital to the growth of the believer and to the overall health of the body of South Creek Church. This is an opportunity to share life with one another and to experience life together. We have a slogan that you will hear at South Creek…“Get Plugged In!” Our goal is to encourage deeper relationships and foster growth amongst each other through true accountability.

At its core, to be a Christian is to follow Jesus. We believe that Jesus changes everything and that as we follow him our lives will be transformed. Jesus didn't come to simply transform us individuals. Following Jesus draws us into community with others who are being transformed.

How to Join a Small Group

It’s easy to join a small group. Just come and have a great time worshipping and learning about Jesus.

Knowing God - J.I. Packer

Pastor Adam is leading the men in our church through a study on this wonderful and practical book. With the sub-title of “Feeding Your Soul in a Post-Truth World” we find that this is a book that hits a very important topic at this right time. In an effort to help us consume a more balanced, healthy diet of information, Brett McCracken has created the “Wisdom Pyramid.” Inspired by the food pyramid model, the Wisdom Pyramid challenges us to increase our intake of enduring, trustworthy sources (like the Bible) while moderating our consumption of less reliable sources (like the Internet and social media). Please join us.

Within the letter to the Philippian church stands a captivating story shared by Paul and the Philippian Christians—what we might call the “fellowship in Christ.” Shared amongst them is a deep love and affection, even tears. Found in this letter is imprisonment, the threat of death, great sacrifice, opposition, and boldness—all springing from the joyful reality of the gospel and toward the ultimate priority of the gospel’s spread throughout the world. Each week is a new peering into this storyline that highlights the fellowship that we have through Christ.

The book of Judges tells the story of Israel's struggles during the time between Joshua's leadership and the rise of the monarchy. It’s a powerful account of a recurring cycle.
